Ildikó Lakner

Teacher G2

I have been teaching in bilingual schools for several years. My special field of study is Hungarian, but I have a license to teach all the subjects in primary school. During my lessons I use different teaching methods to engage all of my students. One of my favorite resources is the Chess – Palace program, which I use excessively in the teaching-learning process. The primary goal is not to master the game of chess, but to develop logical thinking. I like playful lesson activities because it reduces stress on the children, making it easier for them to master the curriculum. It is important for me that students enjoy the time they spend in class.
Since 2019, I have been teaching Hungarian as a foreign language to non-Hungarian-speaking children, helping them to overcome language difficulties while also developing their self-confidence.
I love nature, every summer I take the students to hiking, water and cycling camps.
